Meet your teachers

Dr. Omanand Guruji is a revered yogi and scholar with over 46 years of continuous spiritual practice and teaching. As a chief disciple of HH Yugpurush Mahamandleshwar Swami Paramanand Giriji Maharaj, he carries forward a lineage of deep yogic wisdom.

Born in Kanpur and trained at the historic Vyayamshala school in Ujjain, Guruji has been immersed in meditation and traditional yoga since childhood. He holds a PhD in Yoga & Meditation (from the Hindu University of America) and mastery in ancient Sanskrit scriptures, meriting numerous academic distinctions.

Guruji is the spiritual head of the Paramanand Ashram in Indore, where he leads advanced teacher trainings, healing retreats, and residential programs rooted in classical yogic tradition and experiential wisdom.

A true global teacher, he's guided students from over 90 countries, delivers teachings in six languages, and has authored approximately 65 books on yoga, meditation, chakras, tantra, and Shakti work. Guruji's teachings are known for their authenticity, warmth, and transformative depth.

He is currently guiding the development of a 200-bed Yoga Therapy hospital and research center in Ujjain, furthering his mission to integrate yoga into accessible therapeutic care.

Emilie Ananya Ananda brings over a decade of experience in practicing, studying, and teaching yoga. She is certified in Hatha Yoga by the SivaOm School and the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Science, where she also completed over 1,000 hours of training in yoga therapy, certified by IAYT. Additionally, she is a certified Pranayama and breathwork therapist.

Her path has been guided by a deep commitment to authentic instruction, continually seeking out the profound wisdom of Indian masters. This devotion to traditional teachings enhances her ability to transmit the true essence and transformative potential of yoga to her students.

In addition to her yoga credentials, Emilie is an anthropologist, public health specialist, and certified holistic nutritionist. Before dedicating herself fully to yoga therapy, she spent 14 years in humanitarian aid, coordinating health programs across Africa, Asia, and Central America.

Emilie is also passionate about Ayurveda and weaves its principles into her teaching to support balance and well-being. Today, she is dedicated to helping her students cultivate harmony between body, mind, and breath through a diverse range of techniques.

As the founder of Holon Yoga in Crete, Emilie offers a space for deep practice, self-inquiry, and healing. She is honored to lead the upcoming 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, guiding participants through a comprehensive and transformative journey rooted in tradition and personal growth.
