Marja - Kundalini yoga and meditation instructor
Marja Aurin, Jap Suriya, is yoga teacher with focus on Kundalini yoga and meditation.
Her students appreciate her empathy and her gentle way of teaching and introducing them into the versatile, Kundalini yoga.
By background geologist, she has been working in different geo fields for several years before she decided to set her professional focus on yoga and art.
Recently she developed“soulscribbling”, a creative method to let your soul express in pictures where words do not reach.
This, along with Kundalini yoga, ThetaHealing and Karam Kriya (yoga numerology), she implements into her workshops, retreats and 1:1 sessions.
‘Yoga without the breath is just a circus’
During the retreat, you will learn unique techniques to experience a state of balance and create a sense of calm within yourself. Mastering those tools is a life-changing experience.
Our mission is to empower you as much as possible during the retreat in using those techniques so that at the end of it, you'll feel confident enough to continue using them in your daily life.
How do those tools and techniques work?
It’s actually very simple! Any time we feel stressed or anxious, our bodies activate our sympathetic nervous system - also known as the ‘fight or flight’ response.
Although this stress response is useful in some situations, we haven’t evolved to live constantly in a high-stress state. Unfortunately, this is what many people find themselves experiencing due to high-pressure jobs and busy lifestyles.
The yoga techniques we’ll be sharing with you will help you decrease your stress levels by activating your parasympathetic nervous system instead - the ‘rest and digest' response. Through breathing exercises, postures and meditation, your restorative nervous system will get activated, allowing your body to find deep relaxation and repair damage induced by stress.
